Who We Are

Connections Adult Learning is a community-based literacy and basic skill provider funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration,  Training and Skills Development that provides free programming to individuals 19 and over  who need to upgrade skills for employment, apprenticeship, education and independence. Our training is offered both online and in person  on an one-to-one basis and in small group workshops.

As a not-for-profit corporation  we have been serving our communities for  36 years. Back in 1988  we were incorporated as North Frontenac Literacy Program. We now operate under the name Connections Adult Learning. We are a registered charity and can provide receipts for donations.

As an active community partner we have participated in numerous community events over the years such as Living Our History, Heritage Festival, Polar Plunge, SALT, and  Festival of Trees.
